East Coast Coins in St. John’s, Newfoundland was broken into January 5th and January 10th.  Below is a link to the information on the break-in.  It may be advisable to be especially careful with coins that meet the description of those stolen.  There is a reward offered.

Here is one cheque I picked up recently at Loyalist Coins and Stamps.  I thought it would be good to share it today, since the cheque was writting exactly 83 years ago.  What stood out for me was that it was the Boston, Massachusetts branch of the Bank of Nova Scotia.

Anyone else have any cheques in their collection?
